The Okinawa Karatedo Seijitsu Shin Do Kan Kyokai was originally founded in 2006 to support, research and teach traditional martial arts of Okinawa. Since that time we have greatly expanded our Ryukyu Kobujutsu side as well as our continuing study of Okinawa Karatedo even having made our first trip to Okinawa for training and research.
Our goal is to promote and preserve the traditional ways and pass them on to anyone who is willing to learn and grow in their current martial art or to those that have never trained before and are complete beginners. Our standards are among the highest and yet not militaristic in our approach. Our goal is to keep our standards very high and not give in to modern day pressures but give those that choose to train with us a great sense of achievement through each step of their martial arts journey. Whether short term or long term we try to help each student grow as a person through karatedo.
Through our research and commitment to the community surrounding us in 2014 we registered theOkinawa Karate Do Seijitsu Shin Do Kan Kyokai as a nonprofit corporation with the Ohio Secretary Of State's office.
